News broke Thursday that one of the actors of the megahit HBO show "Girls" will not be coming back. Christopher Abbott, who plays on-again-off-again partner of stuck up Marnie, announced that he is quitting the show.

The actor, who recently starred in indie film "Burma," said that he is leaving because he did not like the direction the show was taking. Media have interpreted this as him not getting along with Lena Dunham, which could be very well true.

Ever since her show premiered in early 2012, Lena Dunham has been the end of many a criticism. Comments over her less-than-perfect looks, her privileged background, the unrealism of her show have been much commented on the media. And whereas many have defended, justified or praised her, there are at least four other people out there who will undoubtedly understand Abbot's position:

1. The staff at Racialicious

One of the very early criticism Dunham received for her portrayal of Brooklyn and Generation Y was that it was awfully racially narrow. Her protagonists were four privileged white women, and their entourage was a handful of privileged white men. Media went on fire about it, but no outlet as much as minority pop culture blog Racialicious. "How is this realistic?" wondered blogger Kendra James. "Why are the only lives that can be mined for 'universal experiences' the lives of white women? It makes me question Dunham's overall skill as a writer -- can't you write about anyone besides yourself?"

2. Howard Stern

When "Girls" won the Golden Globe, radio jock Howard Stern went on a rant pointing out all of Dunham's soft spots. He called her a "talentless little fat chick," going as far as to compare her to actor Jonah Hill. "She keeps taking her clothes off, and it kinda feels like a rape ... I don't want to see that," he said. He later apologized, and even said that he "really do love the show."

3. Scarlett Johansson

Full disclaimer: there is no proof that Scarlett Johansson actually hates Lena Dunham. There are no statements online or otherwise, and as far as known, the two have never really interacted. But there are enough reasons to believe "The Avengers" actress would harbor some resentment towards Dunham. First, she stole her thunder as Jewish New Yorker making headlines. Second, Dunham is enjoying a burst of multi-talented praise that used to be reserved for her, while ScarlJo has been very in the lowdown lately. And third, but definitely not least, she is dating "Fun." frontman Jake Antonoff ... who Johansson dated years ago. Talk about stealing the thunder.
