Amanda Bynes seems to not be getting better as doctors were granted a 30-day psychiatric hold extension, according to TMZ. The "Hairspray" actress was expcted to appear in court today for a conservatorship hearing, but doctors determined she wasn't in good condition to leave.

A judge ended up paying a visit to Bynes to conduct an emergency hearing where he granted the doctor's request. According to laws, doctors can only get an order when the patient is "gravely disabled as a result of a mental disoder."

Amanda's parents will continue to pursue the temporary conservatorship over their daughter's finances. The "She's The Man" star was placed under 5150 hold at the end of July after setting a small fire in a driveway in Thousand Oaks, California and has been on hold ever since.
