Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have ended their marriage in 2016 after a rift that blew out of proportion. In early 2019, the court declared the couple as officially “single,” although their divorce case is still ongoing. Now that they are free, it was rumored that the “Maleficent” actress is now ready to date and is eyeing Keanu Reeves.

According to a report, Jolie asked Reeves out for a date because she is really the “man of her dreams.” After the heartache and messy divorce battle, the actress is now ready to fall in love again and is determined to start a relationship soon.

The 44-year-old actress reportedly wants the “John Wick” star to be her next beau, so she took the first step and expressed her feelings for him by asking him out. It was also said that the actor’s mother would readily welcome Jolie in the family if they will begin dating for real.

“Her birthday felt like a turning point and the right time to begin a relationship,” a source told the magazine. “She hasn’t been this excited about a man since she first met Brad.”

This is not the first time that Jolie and Reeves were romantically linked as their dating rumors actually started in 2018. It was alleged that the two are quietly dating and enjoy going on trips.

However, this story had been debunked after Gossip Cop contacted the actor’s representative and was told that the write-up is false. The magazine that first published the report was also called out for fabricating a story about Reeves just to make money out of it.

Jolie’s side also denied the report and stated that the actress is busy with work and is focusing on her children. She has no interest in dating right now and would prefer spending time with her kids.

Jolie did not ask Reeves for a date, but they may be working together for a new Marvel Studios movie. The actress joined the cast of “The Eternals” as Sersi, and negotiations for the actor’s addition to the cast lineup is ongoing. The character that Reeves’ will portray in the upcoming Marvel film wasn’t mentioned, but it is surely not the lead as the production team is looking for an Asian actor for the part.
