Most people probably use Instagram to let the world know what they’re up to recently, as well as keep abreast of what their family and friends are doing. But for celebrities with hundreds of millions of followers, a single IG post can mean millions of dollars.

For those who are wondering just how much money these celebs are making from the photo-sharing platform, HopperHQ just released its Instagram Rich List 2019 money. Not surprisingly, the Khardashian-Jenner clan is well represented in the list, with four of its members among the top 20.

A big chunk of 2019’s top 30 list consists of sports stars, the majority of which are football players, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, while the rest come from the music and entertainment industry. But the top ten earners on Instagram are as follows.

1. Kylie Jenner ($1,266,000 Per Post)

Even after successfully joining the ranks of the ultra-rich by becoming Forbes’ youngest self-made billionaire this year, Kylie Jenner is not resting on her laurels just yet. She cemented her queen of Instagram title further by topping the list as the highest paid celebrity on the platform.

While she’s not the celebrity with the highest number of followers, Jenner earns an average of a whopping $1,266,000 per post on the platform. This represents a 27-percent increase from last year, when she earned a million dollar per post.

2. Ariana Grande ($996,000)

At the second spot is pop princess Ariana Grande, with estimated earnings of $996,000 per IG post. She has a sizable following of 158 million users on the social platform.

The artist mainly uses Instagram for promoting her tours, merchandise, as well as the usual selfies. Her posts are generally well received as they usually earn millions of likes from fans.

3. Cristiano Ronaldo ($975,000)

Cristiano Ronaldo remains hugely popular among football fans. The Portuguese sports star earns around $975,000 per post on the social platform.

This is a marked improvement from his last year’s earnings of $750,000 per post. Just like Jenner, Ronaldo managed to retain his rank. He was also ranked on the third spot last year.

4. Kim Kardashian ($910,000)

Another member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan bagged this year’s fourth spot. Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner’s older half-sister, is earning $910,000 per post this year, a marked improvement from her $720,000 per post last year.

5. Selena Gomez ($886,000)

This year, Selena Gomez is raking in $886,000 per IG post, which is still an improvement from her $800,000 per post earnings last year. But despite the increase in earnings and having 152 million followers, she slid down three notches in the rankings. She was ranked second last year.

6. Dwayne Johnson ($882,000)

Like his namesake, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s earning power remains as stable as ever. The former wrestling star is raking in $882,000 per post this year, a very sharp increase of the $650,000 per post he raked in last year. The celebrity remains at the sixth spot with over 147 million followers.

7. Beyonce Knowles ($785,000)

Queen Bey might not be the most active star on Instagram, but she’s certainly one of the highest paid, thanks to her more than 128 million followers. This year, she earns $785,000 per post, placing her at the seventh spot, a marked increase from her $700,000 per post earnings last year. However, she actually slid down in the recent ranking as she was ranked fifth previously.

8. Taylor Swift ($748,000)

With a thriving singing career and 119 million followers, it’s not so surprising for Taylor Swift to be the eighth ranked this year. What is surprising, however, is that the singer was not included in the previous rankings.

The reason for the omission is that the artist never posted Instagram ads in the past. This year, however, it is known that her going rate is $748,000 per post.

9. Neymar da Silva Santos Junior ($722,000)

Football star Neymar remains one of the highest paid celebrities on Instagram. He lands at the ninth spot this year, one level lower that his eighth spot last year.

However, his earnings per post have significantly improved. While he earned $600,000 per post last year, he is now earning $722,000 per IG post this year. Neymar has more than 121 million followers on the platform.

10. Justin Bieber ($722,000)

Rounding up at the tenth place is Canadian crooner Justin Bieber. With 114 million followers, the singer earns $722,000 per post this year, an improvement from his $630,000 per post last year. However, his ranking slid down three spots as he used to rank seventh last year.
