This week, the Arrow team were sent to Russia after Diggle found out the Lyla has gone missing while following a lead on Deadshot. Oliver chartered the secret operation to Russia. Isabel Rochev finds out that Oliver is going to Russia and jumps aboard, believing that he is trying to meet up with the international division of Queen Consolidates behind her back. Once in Rusia, Oliver and Diggle find out that Leila is being held in a gulag.

Oliver and Diggle come up with a plan in which Diggle is arrested so he can be sent to the gulag and thus rescue Leila. Once he is inside, Diggle finds Deadshot alone in an isolation freezer. The two are forced to put their differences aside and come together to rescue Leila and escape. Later, Diggle lets Deadshot go for helping him rescue Leila: in return, Deadshot reveals that he was supposed to kill Diggle's brother after H.I.V.E contracted him for the hit.

In flashbacks, Dr. Ivo reveals to Oliver that the Japanese soldiers were transporting a serum that would give them incredible strength and the ability to regenerate. Sarah tricks Oliver into revealing that Shado and Slade are still alive. Meanwhile, Oliver is almost executed, but Sara convinces Ivo to spare his life.

ADA Adam Donner (guest star Dylan Bruce) collapses in court with Vertigo symptoms so Laurel (Katie Cassidy) must step in and try the case against Moira. Oliver is torn between standing by his family during the trial and catching The Count. However, things change when Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) follows a lead and walks straight into a trap set by The Count."
