The Arsenal Gunners finished fourth in the final Premier League standings last season and as they headed into another competitive campaign in 2013, manager Arsene Wenger and the Gunners made it a point to improve upon that final finish. Off to a quick start during the 2013-2014 season, Arsenal looks poised for a season of success after jumping out to a fast start in league play. Coming off a 4-3 victory over West Bromwich in the third round of the 2013 Capital One Cup, the Gunners are looking forward to returning to Premier League competition since they currently pace the league with 12 points through 5 matches.

Up next in BPL play for Arsenal is Swansea City. Sitting ninth in the current league standings, Swan City (2-1-2, 7 points) will look to bounce back from a Capital One Cup loss to Birmingham City. Despite the fact that they dropped the recent match, The Swans hope a win at Liberty Stadium over the Gunners will help them moving forward in league play. Earning 2 victories and a draw in their last 3 Premier League outings, Swan City is fully capable of hanging with Arsenal and a win against the current top team in the league could certainly be a major launching point for the club.

A win for Swan City won't come easy however as the Gunners have won their last 8 Premier League contests away from The Emirates. Displaying the abiity to win home and away, expect Arsenal to come out with tremendous poise but don't expect Swan City to disappear. The clubs split 2 matches last season with Arsenal winning at Liberty and with a good showing, a repeat performance could be in store for the Gunners.
