"The Big Bang Theory" will return this Thursday with an all-new episode. After a slow start, Season 6 of the beloved series has taken off proving to be the richest of them all. Last episode left a happy feeling in fans at seeing Raj finally hitting it off with Lucy, but will she stick around? And what about the other couples in the show? How does the future look for Penny and Leonard, and Amy and Sheldon?

In the next episode, which will be the 19th of the season, Penny and Leonard will throw a semi-formal cocktail party that will not go as planned. In a surprising turn of events, Howard received a letter from his father, who he hasn't seen in 20 years. He will have to make up his mind about whether to meet up with him.

Actress Kate Micucci, who portrays Lucy, said she did not expect to return after her character left Raj in the coffee shop a couple of episodes back, but then the producers called her back. She confirmed she will be appearing again, but said she "doesn't know what the plan is."

In news that goes beyond this week, Jim Parsons, who is the face of the awkwardly brilliant Dr. Sheldon Cooper, said in an interview with USA Today that he could see the show going on to 10 seasons.

"I don't say it to give me a pat in the back. I am just logical about it."

Nothing to blame him for, given the success the show has every week, winning viewership even over audience champion "American Idol."

Kaley Cuoco, who plays beauty-next-door Penny, spoke about her character's on-and-off relationship with Dr. Leonard Hoffstadter.

"We could be broken up next week. It's always been so up in the air. It's very true to life."

Curious to see where our favorite geeks will end up? Tune in on CBS Thursday at 8 p.m., EST, for a new episode of "The Big Bang Theory."
