As the premiere of "Once Upon A Time" approaches for season 3, everyone is wondering just what will happen in ABC's fantasy show. The latest video for season 3 gives fans the first glimpse of Ariel, The Little Mermaid. The brief trailer shows Grumpy enjoying about to enjoy his lunch when he encountered thievery by the hands of none other than Ariel. And while we don't catch a peek of Ariel's face, most likely because she had not yet been cast, we do see her swimming away with her mystical mermaid tail in tow. Grumpy seems more angry than shocked that Ariel is a mermaid.
As for the Evil Queen, it seems that she is up to her old ways. The producer of "Once Upon A Time," Adam Horowitz, revealed, "If the Queen's got a better way to get Henry that may break the law, so be it. It's prison rules." Regina is back to her lawless and reckless behavior in season 3. In an attempt to save Henry from Peter Pan, it seems that Regina will literally do anything to save her adoptive son. Stroybrooke beware, the Evil Queen is on a mission and she is not stopping until she succeeds.
As a continued foil to Regina, Snow White is returning to her old ways, but this time for the better, she is embracing her kindly heart again. And while, like Regina, Snow really wants to rescue her grandson, she refuses to put anyone else in danger to do so. For season 3 Snow White is much more concerned with acting the right way, in order to not only help her family but to also help her heart. Horowitz told TV Guide, "This year, it's about finding the hope. It's the hope that Snow White always brought to us. She's the light. I think she's going to see a lot of darkness and realize that the best thing she can do is return the light to not just her, but to get daughter and her husband."
Lastly, season 3 of "Once Upon A Time" will delve into the story behind the ominous Peter Pan. Peter Pan's backstory (obviously "Once Upon A Time") version will be revealed.
