Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep and Reese Witherspoon are rumored to be feuding with each other. The three women currently star in the second season of the hit HBO series “Big Little Lies.”

A tabloid recently claimed that the younger cast members of “Big Little Lies” are not pleased to have been written out of the series to accommodate newcomer Streep. The award-winning actress plays the role of Mary Louise, the mother of Perry (Alexander Skarsgard).

During the filming of “Big Little Lies,” rumors also swirled that Kidman and Streep were feuding on set, and things got so intense that the execs of the series had to step in. Kidman allegedly felt that she was the star of the show in Season 1, but things changed ever since Streep joined the cast in Season 2.

Rumors also claimed that Witherspoon and Laura Dern decided to dump Kidman from the award-winning series. An unnamed source told the tabloid that Witherspoon and Dern had dinner together in Los Angeles while Kidman was promoting “Aquaman.”

Kidman and Witherspoon were also pitted against each other recently amid claims that they were competing for the same awards. An unnamed source said that Witherspoon is not pleased with all of the praises that Kidman has received since “Big Little Lies” premiered.

But according to the rumor-debunking site Gossip Cop, none of the claims are correct. Kidman, Witherspoon and Streep get along well with each other. There is also no proof to support the claim that younger cast members Shailene Woodley and Zoe Kravitz are threatened by Streep’s casting.

Kidman, Witherspoon and Dern are also doing well. In fact, during their joint interviews, the cast of “Big Little Lies” couldn’t help but praise each other. They have also expressed how much they love the fact that Streep is part of the HBO series.

While speaking with Variety, Keith Urban’s wife called Streep the queen. “I call her the great one,” she said. “It’s so good when you see someone that could be resting their laurels and doesn’t, is a complete pro — comes in, is never late. It’s just great to work with that,” she added.
