Fans of the popular anime series were over the moon after knowing that “Bleach" season 17, the conclusive arc, will premiere this winter of 2021.

The series first aired on Oct. 5, 2004, running about 16 seasons and a total of 366 episodes. On March 27, 2012, the show's last episode aired. Viewers have been clamoring for another installment and it seemed that the creators have granted them this request during the 20th anniversary of the manga last year.

The creators of "Bleach" season 17 renewed the series for its final arc, according to Weekly Shonen Jump. The show will adapt the “Thousand-Year Blood War Arc,” from the manga series.

According to TVSeasonspoiler, the "Thousand-Year Blood War Arc" has 218 chapters and the adaptation might air over 20 episodes. Either the season will break the anime into a series of course, or create the possibility of a full animated feature film.

In season 16, Ichigo Kurosaki lost his powers. The finale had Ginjo and Ichigo fighting, with Tsukishima trying to kill Ichigo as well despite his conditions. But this was thwarted by Riruka as she exited from Rukia's body.

Later, Ichigo went to Genrysai Shigekuni Yamamoto and ask if Ginjo's body to be buried in the human world. Ichigo agreed to continue as a Substitute Soul Reaper. In the end, Ichigo arrived in town and was welcomed by his friends and family.

Fans who have read the manga will know of the Wandenreich group and their plans of attacking the Soul Society. There will be war between the Quincy and the Shinigami group.

Currently, “Bleach” will get its art exhibition in December 2021 in Hikarie Hall, and fans can only speculate if this will coincide with the release of season 17.

Similarly, “My Hero Academia” held an exhibit in Tokyo event coincides with the premiere of season 5 and the Osaka exhibition with the opening of the third movie installment.

"Bleach’s" creator Tite Kubo joined the exhibit and congratulated Horikoshi’s MHA show. Who knows whether the creator found inspiration from the MHA exhibit and will release the “Thousand-Year Blood War Arc” then. According to reports, the “Bleach Art Exhibition” will feature the adventures of the Soul Society.
