“The Boys” Season 3's red band teaser served as the basis for a new fan-made Marvel Cinematic Universe supercut, despite the season 3 trailer being tagged for sexual content for more than 20 million times.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the 28th film in the wildly successful Marvel Comics franchise, will hit theaters in May 2022. Season 3 of “The Boys” premieres on Prime Video on Jun. 3. You may watch the sneak peek here.
Unfortunately, the trailer was flagged or reported for its content about 20,093,031 times, Boss Hunting reported. The preview included a smorgasbord of blink-and-you'll-miss-it moments.
"Everyone's raving that the Season 3 is 'deeply unhinged' and asking 'what the f-ck did we just watch?'," the show's account tweeted.
Chance Crawford's The Deep fucking in an aquarium, Tomer Capon and Karen Fukuhara's Frenchie and Kimiko took part in an unexplained musical dance number from Homelander intimately satisfying his milk fetish by intimately working a cow to a few glimpses of Supernatural alum Jensen Ackles as the legendary original Soldier Boy.
But it's Karl Urban's role as Billy Butcher that's the most intriguing detail teased.
When the “The Boys” Season 3 posters were published, the hypothesis was spreading, but it now appears that we have concrete confirmation. Billy Butcher has taken Compound V to "balance the playing field," as in the graphic novel.
Fans should expect Butcher to live up to his moniker with his newfound talents, as a former member of the SAS turned Black Ops vigilante who had no qualms about getting down + dirty even before he was a superhuman.
On the other hand, on the r/marvelstudios subreddit, Reddit user ghostplaysvr just posted a Boys-inspired video. The supercut, like the original trailer, is set to Imagine Dragons' "Bones," but instead of video from the Prime Video show, it features excerpts from MCU films and TV shows that have been timed to the song.
Some of the footage utilized, such as one of Steve Rogers in front of a bathroom mirror, eerily resemble sequences from Amazon's dark superhero satire's third season.
Following months of anticipation, “The Boys” Season 3 trailer was released in March 2022.
The teaser hinted at several major developments for the anti-superhero vigilantes, the most notable of which being that leader Billy Butcher will get superpowers.
Butcher isn't the only one receiving a makeover in the new season; the teaser also shows Queen Maeve wielding her new Wonder Woman-inspired blade and speedy A-Train in his new suit.
Jensen Ackles' Soldier Boy was also seen in action for the first time. Soldier Boy mocks Captain America's "man out of time" origin and jingoistic attitude in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
