MAGA Influencer Suddenly Changes Tune After Calling For 'Special Counsel' to Investigate Epstein Files: 'I'd Be Annoyed Too If I Were Trump'

Conservative influencer and MAGA supporter Laura Loomer has suddenly shifted ground on the Jeffrey Epstein case, now stating that the case is overshadowing more important issues the Trump administration should be focusing on.

Loomer took to social media to advocate for the appointment of a special counsel who would be tasked with handling files pertaining to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein on Wednesday.

"Epstein case threatens to 'consume' Trump's presidency amid MAGA uproar," she wrote. "The best thing President Trump can do is appoint a Special Counsel so we can all get back to focusing on his extraordinary wins and his incredible deals. No need for a distraction."

Other social media users began calling her out on her sudden change of tune, indicating that it stemmed from statements released by President Trump in which he encouraged the public to disregard the Epstein case.

"Hey guys, since Laura got a call from her orange sugar daddy to stop talking about Epstein, ill just update yall on every one of her posts. This morning, trump called people who want the files released "stupid"," said one user.

"This is a lie. Every major news network has contacted me today asking me for a comment. I said that Truth Social posts about Epstein are having a Streisand effect, and that it's not going away," Loomer responded indignantly.

"I also have said that we need a Special Counsel to address the Epstein files and that it is a distraction from the incredible work President Trump is doing to Make America Great Again," she continued.

"I'd be annoyed too honestly if I were President Trump, winning for the American people everyday, and if people only wanted to focus on one issue instead of all of the issues," she added. "President Trump is doing a lot of great things and we don't need to throw the baby out with the bathwater."

"But we can't just Truth Social the Epstein Files away. Two things can be true at the same time. I fully support President Trump," she concluded.

President Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social on Wednesday to call out MAGA supporters who had been encouraging him to release the Epstein files.

"PAST supporters have bought into this 'bullshit,' hook, line, and sinker," he wrote, adding "I don't want their support anymore!"

Trump also defended Attorney General Pam Bondi, who has been heavily criticized for denying the existence of a list of Epstein's clients after claiming earlier this year that the list was sitting on her desk.

"What's going on with my 'boys' and, in some cases, 'gals?'" Trump wrote last Saturday. "They're all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! We're on one Team, MAGA, and I don't like what's happening."

"We have a PERFECT Administration, THE TALK OF THE WORLD, and 'selfish people' are trying to hurt it, all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein," Trump continued.
