Brazil's Neymar and Daniel Alves look on during the 2014 World Cup Group A soccer match between Brazil and Mexico Reuters

Brazil meets Cameroon in their final group stage game at the Estádio Nacional de Brasilia in Brasília on Monday. The Brazilians, who sit atop their group, have still not qualified and will need at least one point from the Africans if they wish to keep their World Cup dreams alive. That said, the host nation will fancy their chances of beating the visiting team, who come into the match without two of their top players: Samuel Eto'o and Alex Song.

Brazil will look to starlet Neymar to lead the team to victory. The Barcelona player, who scored a nice goal in their opening match against Croatia, will need to show the world that he is ready to take his team forward in the tournament that was slated to be his coming out party. Fred, who performed extremely poorly in the team's two opening matches, is most likely going to take a seat on the bench and make way for Jo who looked lively coming as his replacement in the 0-0 draw against Mexico. Brazil will need big performances from attacking players Neymar, Oscar, and Hulk if they are to score the necessary goals they need to advance to the knockout rounds.

Already eliminated Cameroon come into the match missing star striker, captain, and all time leading goal-scorer Samuel Eto'o due to a knee injury that had him miss out in their last game against Croatia. In that game, midfielder Alex Song received a silly red card for a dumb punch on opponent Mario Mandjukic. The team has looked poor, and hasn't been able to create quality chances in front of goal. They have still not scored a goal in two games against Mexico and Croatia. The team hasn't possessed very much, and without their big name striker and defensive midfielder, this team will undoubedtly struggle against the host nation.

Look for this game to be dominated by Brazil. The hosts will look to get on the board early and often and put this game to bed from the start. Brazil will try to showcase the dominant performance that they've yet to show. And Cameroon seems to be the perfect side to thrash, having come off two horendous performances and missing two of their best players. This match should be a demolition and should jumpstart Brazil's push through the knockout rounds.
