Britney Spears was seen in public for the first time after her fans started a #FreeBritney movement on social media. Prior to her outing, the singer’s supporters became concerned that their idol’s team has been controlling her against her will.

In the photos uploaded by Daily Mail, the “Toxic” singer is sitting on the driver’s seat of her car while being accompanied by a female friend. She is also talking to someone on her mobile phone.

Spears is wearing a blouse, and she also kept her blonde hair up in a tight ponytail. The former “X-Factor” judge also sported a pair of Ray-Ban sunglass. Spears’ sighting came amid fans’ growing concern that she is being held against her will.

“She is looking forward to keeping her stress level as low as possible and to just relax,” a source told Page Six. “The singer was upset over an illness her dad was battling, made exponentially worse by the fact the meds she’d been taking for her mental illness stopped working,” the source added.

According to TMZ, Spears is currently struggling with her unresolved mental issues. However, it has also been revealed that she recently completed a 30-day stint in rehab.

Fans started expressing their concerns regarding Spears’ health and well-being after her former manager, Sam Lutfi, commented on the ongoing events surrounding the singer’s life. Shortly after, Spears released a video telling fans that she’s doing well. The singer also hit out at Lutfi and said that the fake emails that were released about her were crafted by her former manager.

“I wanted to say hi because things that are being said have just gotten out of control!” Spears said. “Wow! There’s rumors, death threats to my family, and my team and just so many crazy things being said. These fake emails everywhere were crafted by Sam Lutfi years ago … I did not write them,” she added.

Spears ended her message to her fans by saying that her situation is unique but that she’s doing everything she can to get better. After hearing what Spears had to say, Lutfi denied that he ever had access to his former client’s email.
