Cuffe Biden Owens, Joe Biden’s Nephew Splits With Wife Of 2 Months Meghan King

Former “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Meghan King and her husband of two months Cuffe Biden Owens, who is US President Joe Biden’s nephew, reportedly had a speedy split.

A source told Page Six that King told her friends that "they broke up" a little over two months after walking down the aisle. Their representatives are yet to comment on the split that follows a quick engagement. It is not known when the two met, but they made it official on Instagram in September.

Just a few weeks later, King and the attorney got married on Oct. 11 at his childhood home in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Joe Biden, who is elder brother of Owens' mother, Valerie, and First Lady, Jill Biden, also attended the wedding ceremony. According to Fox News, the White House described the ceremony as a "small, family wedding at the home of Valerie and Jack Owens."

When her former husband Jim Edmonds, who she shares three children with, heard the news, he told Daily Mail, “I thought it was a joke. They had been dating for about four weeks!” Edmonds even wondered if she was pregnant. The Major League Baseball superstar and King married in 2014 and they split in 2019 following allegations that he was not faithful. But it took time to finalize their divorce that happened in May.

Commenting on her whirlwind romance with Owens, King previously told Brides that they connected on a dating app then they continued to exchange texts for a day or two. When they spoke to each other for the first time they spent "five straight hours on the phone." Recalling how their affair started, the TV personality said that by the time that call ended, Owens "was booked and packed for a flight to St. Louis that took off in about eight hours."

King, who was previously married to a classmate named Brad McDill, but separated in October 2011, shared that within a week, she and Owens were back on the East Coast. They met his family members and discussed about their future together. They were so in love that they "didn’t leave each other’s side for weeks.”

King’s fans have been speculating about the couple's marital status as Owens has not featured in any of the photographs on her social media accounts and she has removed his last name from her page.
