Demi Lovato has decided to celebrate her three years of sobriety with fresh ink. The pop star has covered her "vagina" tattoo with a new beautiful rose.

Lovato covered the tattoo on her left wrist Monday at GEE's Spot in North Hollywood. She then posted a pic of the new ink on Instagram with the caption: "Bye bye and hello!" She also wrote "It looks beaaauutiful and I LOVE it!! #RIPvaginatattoo #kidsdontdodrugs."

We do want to clarify that Lovato does not actually have a vagina tattoo. During the 2011 Warp Tour Demi and her friends Ivey Ensley, Hanna Beth Merjos and Lauren Pietra all spontaneously got matching pursed lips tattoos, which kind of resembles a vagina and has been dubbed so. Check out the tattoo below:

Daily Mail reports that Lovato's new ink could be to celebrate her three years of being sober anniversary. The ex-Disney starlet has made it no secret she's struggled with addictions in the past.

"Thank everyone who has supported my journey!" she tweeted to her 27.9M followers.

"I never knew sobriety was possible for me, but with the love and support I've been given from my friends, fans and family...I now celebrate my 3rd birthday. Thank you to everyone."

She did two stints in rehab for cocaine, alcohol, depression, self-harm and an eating disorder at Timberline Knolls. Demi has been on such a good path to heal herself and celebrated her second release from rehab with matching "Stay Strong" tattoos with her mother Dianna Hart. She's even transformed her body with frequent sessions at the gym with her personal trainer Ronny Camacho.
