This weekend's guilty pleasure starts with Alejadro going away and Carmen and Sam getting the house all for themselves since Odessa is out of the picture due to her "accident." But before Carmen takes on Odessa's responsibilities, why not have a little fun and take advantage of the gorgeous house she's supposed to keep? You got the sun, you got the pool, and you definitely do not need a bathing suit.
Poor Sam's all confused with Carmen's behavior since she's acting very seductively around him (like you didn't know she was only playing with you). Not only did she take all her clothes off before diving into the pool, but the way she walks around the house wearing only a green towel could confuse even the toughest guy. Add to the mix that he found her singing one of her compositions while playing the piano (although a full orchestra was heard in the background), and who could not fall for Roselyn Sánchez's voice?
Oh, by the way, ask her the best way to turn a man down. Wait until he says "I like you" and cue your "Aww!" And just when things were developing into an emotional conversation with a twist (this time the guy basically putting his heart on the table), Odessa shows up, forcing Carmen and Sam to figure out a way of tricking her so she didn't get Carmen fired for being basically naked at her employer's house. She ended up hiding in the piano wearing nothing but her beautiful skin.
Meanwhile, Valentina doesn't seem to understand that boundaries exist. Sure, why not sit on the table with your employer while discussing Hitchcock and gently stroking his arm? Watch out little girl! Your momma's onto you and she already threatened with kicking you out!
But of course, that didn't stop her anyways. She "casually" ran into Remi and his friends at the movie theatre and worked her way into his friends' hearts with a costume made dress designed by her. But that happiness and feeling of acceptance into that "other world" didn't last long. When Zoila found out about her daughter's encounter, she told Genevieve that her son was partying too much and it was better to keep him close. Genevieve decided to bring the party home and Zoila offered to cater the event with Valentina, exposing her job to Remi's friends. What is she trying to protect her from anyways?
The next day and many tears later, Genevieve's intuition got Valentina opening up to her and she confessed that she's in love with her son. Surprisingly enough, Genevieve took it too lightly and didn't seem upset that Valentina was her maid. "That is what you do, not who you are." Those drugs might be kicking in real hard to have that reaction. And now the game goes Genevieve and Valentina vs. Zoila. Let the best woman win!
Rosie on the other hand, found herself in the middle of a cheating scandal. Although Perri tried to convince her nanny that she wasn't sleeping with another man other than her husband, she later catches them in the act.
She is confused and gets together with her friends to discuss what she just found out. When the others ask Rosie if she's going to tell Spence, she seems very sure of her decision, but Marisol reminds her that sometimes hiding the truth is better when it's going to hurt someone.
To make sure if she could tell Spence, she talks to him first and asks him if he's ever thought of leaving Perri, to which he says yes. She asks why he hasn't, and he replies that because of their son. Rosie changes her mind and decides not to tell him that she found his wife in bed with another man.
That keeps me wondering, why is Rosie so worried about Spence? Could she have a mild crush on him and never show it because he's a married man and her faith and morals go against cheating? Could she be waiting for Perri and Spence's divorce to make her move? Or will she ever get down and dirty with her boss in a sudden change of heart? (Please Marc Cherry, we beg you!)
Now, on to Mr. Powells. Why is he so obsessed with Marisol working for him? And what's the secret between him and Taylor that got her so upset when he went to "convince" her to let Marisol work for him and his wife on her day off? According to Taylor, "He's just very persuasive... and cruel."
But the biggest mystery of all is why Marisol is so obsessed with the Powells and didn't seem to mind the little flirting going on when she went to clean Adrian's studio and he stayed there asking her personal questions. From that little encounter we know that Flora was Powells' "confident," that he has a fetish with women cleaning, and that Marisol is one step closer to whatever it is she went there for after she found the famous letter that reads "I was raped."
Is Marisol really a maid? her outfit (and let's face it, her cleaning skills) are not too maid-ish, and why is Mr Powells crying over the letter Marisol found? "I trusted you, it's your fault," it read. Was this Flora's letter? Was she really his confident and not his lover?
We'll just have to wait another week until more secrets see the light of day.
