Young siblings from ordinary families usually share the same bedroom until they become adolescents. However, that is not the case for royal siblings Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are just as popular as their parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton. That is why followers of the royal family are just as interested in them as they are in their parents.

One of the things that royal followers are interested to know about them is their sleeping arrangements. While most siblings their age normally sleep in the same bedroom together, Prince George, Prince Charlotte and Prince Louis already have bedrooms of their own.

Prince George

Prince George, Prince William and Kate’s firstborn, sleeps in a bedroom filled with IKEA furniture. The young prince is fond of dinosaurs, police cars and fire trucks, so the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made it a point to splash such toys and themes across his room when they designed it.

Just like Prince George, Princess Charlotte also has a room filled with IKEA furniture. Though the Palace has yet to release photos of her bedroom, it’s likely that it features pops of pink because Kate revealed once that her only daughter loves the color. It might also have chairs, tables, and other pieces that look whimsical and are reminiscent of Disney, which toddlers like her typically love.

Prince Louis

When at home, the youngest child of Prince William and Kate spends most of his time inside his own nursery, which is full of warm blues and whimsy. When Prince William and Kate were preparing the room, they didn’t have an idea of the baby’s gender, so they decorated it with a classic and unisex theme, Peter Rabbit.

In a couple of years, Prince Louis will be moving to his big boy bedroom, which will look quite different from his nursery room.

While the royal siblings sleep in their own bedrooms at night, there’s a room in their family’s 20-room apartment that serves as their common playroom. This play area reportedly doesn’t have electronics as Prince William and Kate have always wanted their children to grow up without gadgets for entertainment.

“William and Kate are firm believers in toys, outdoor play, and encouraging an active imagination,” an insider said. “They’re very much a normal family,” the source added.
