One of the popular horror video games known to most, “Five Night’s At Freddy’s” will officially be made into a movie.

This was after Blumhouse made the announcement after films such as “Willy’s Wonderland” and “The Banana Splits Movie” came out.

In a report by Deadline, it was also revealed that Emma Tammi (Dark: Blood Moon) is set to direct the “Five Night’s At Freddy’s” film.

For the benefit of those who may not be aware of the Gen-Z game, the game tells the story of a player character placed on night shift duty at Freddy Fazbear’s pizza parlor.

“Five Night’s at Freddy’s” was created by Scott Cawthon, about a player who eventually finds out that night shift duty will not be that easy because animatronic animals come to life at night.

“Stepping into the rich, terrifying world of Freddy’s alongside Scott Cawthon, Blumhouse and Jim Henson’s Creature Shop is beyond thrilling. I cannot wait for audiences to immerse themselves in the wild and wonderful playground we are creating,” Tammi said.

The upcoming film will be a collaboration between Cawthon, Blumhouse and Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.

“Five Nights at Freddy’s is more consistently asked about than any other film I’ve ever worked on, and I’m thrilled to confirm it’s finally happening!” Blumhouse founder Jason Blum said. “With Emma Tammi at the helm, we’re committed to making Scott’s vision of the movie come to life. Rest assured, it will be and is worth the wait.”

As far as video game is concerned, there have been eight games have come out. The last one was “Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach,” something that came out in 2021.

Also, there have been six spinoff games as well as five fan-created games endorsed by Cawthon and dozens of novels and graphic novels based on the series.
