Much has been written about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s impending wedding. Speculations ran amok that all’s not well and that Stefani is taking things a little too slow and is awaiting the annulation of her first marriage—much to the annoyance of her current beau Blake. The reports of a rift between the current couple are all false, and Gossip Cop has busted this myth not just once but five times over.

Not too long ago, a report on Us Weekly surfaced alleging that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton did not walk down the aisle because Stefani’s first marriage to Gavin Rossdale was yet to be annulled by the Catholic Church, though Stefani had begun with the process –back in March 2019. The report hinted at Rossdale’s dismay as he felt his ex-wife was pushing her and Blake’s beliefs on him. This is, indeed, bogus as Gossip Cop had pointed out that Stefani was really no rushing her marriage to Shelton.

Soon after, another report by the National Enquirer took things up a notch when a phony insider, allegedly, revealed to the publication about Stefani’s serious plans. The plan entailed planning a trip to the Vatican. "Gwen is planning a trip to the Vatican in Rome with Blake and her parents to make her appeal [to Pope Francis] in person,” the insider said. But, pretty much like the first report, Rossdale was fighting the process. It, however, didn’t take long for Gossip Cop to get the truth from Stefani’s rep, who denied these baseless rumors. In reality, a trip to Rome was never planned in the first place, let alone meet the pope.

This is not all. Another report by In Touch magazine mentioned that Shelton was extremely frustrated owing to the delays, and more so because he felt a church wedding wasn’t important. Gossip Cop busted this fabricated report on the premises that the rumors were baseless as the couple wasn’t even engaged.

Just when fans thought the hullaballoo around the Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton wedding had simmered, another cropped up. This time, it focused on the extreme and painted Rossdale as the toxic ex who tried his best to block Stefani and Shelton from getting married to the annulment. The article alleged that Rossdale went “Ballistic” because if the annulment came through, his marriage would cease to have existed at any given point. This was again just a baseless tabloid story as neither had Stefani and Shelton gotten engaged not did Stefani apply for the annulment back then. The fake narrative was deemed false by Stefani’s rep.

Last but not least, a similar storyline resurfaced in October. The Enquirer conceded that Shelton was “desperate” to get married, but Stefani keeps pushing it aside—much to the despair of Shelton. Indeed, the celebrity couple’s wedding plans have garnered mammoth attention from fans world over. But, most of what has appeared has been fabricated beyond imagination.
