iMessage is still on the fritz for some people since the release of iOS 7 and even after the latest update, 7.0.2. Since the release of Apple's new operating system for iOS devices users have complained about issues relating to the sending and receiving of iMessages on their iOS devices. Other users have complained about multi-day outages on their devices. Since Apple has not added these issues to the System Status page many see this as an indication that something more a simple service problem.

The Wall Street Journal has reported that Apple is aware of the issue and is working diligently to get iMessage delivery fixed. "We are aware of an issue that affects a fraction of a percent of our iMessage users, and we will have a fix available in an upcoming software update," Apple said in a statement. "In the meantime, we encourage any users having problems to reference our troubleshooting documents or contact AppleCare to help resolve their issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes impacted users."

Some users have reported that turning their device off and on fixed their iMessage issue, and others have said that it did not help. While Macrumors has reported that they may have discovered a possible fix. By resetting your network settings on your iOS device some users have reported that their iMessage issues have been fixed. If you are one of the unlucky users having iMessage issues, try the following steps to fix iMessage on your device running iOS 7:

1. Turn off iMessage in Settings > Messages

2. Reset networking settings in Settings > General > Reset

3. Reenable iMessage in Settings > Messages

If this method doesn't work we suggest waiting to see if Apple sends out a new update or announces anything. Until then, Latin Times will be looking for a new method to help fix this problem. Stay tuned.
