After her recent split from Justin Theroux, Jennifer Aniston is back to being single and back to being a favorite topic in the rumor mill. Previously there were speculations that she might rekindle her past romance with Brad Pitt after having been divorced from Angelina Jolie, but a recent story dragged a totally unexpected name into the picture — Katy Perry’s fiancé, Orlando Bloom.

In an article from Life & Style magazine, Perry allegedly found questionable texts from Aniston on Bloom’s phone, according to Gossip Cop. Because of her discovery, the singer is mulling if she should warn the actress to stay away from her fiancé.

A source supposedly told Life & Style that after reading Aniston’s “inappropriate” texts, Perry is worried that the “Friends” actress and Bloom might be more than friends. “Katy wishes Jen would back off,” the source added.

However, Gossip Cop became suspicious of the article’s veracity since it did not contain specific details. For example, it just described the texts as “inappropriate” without revealing their actual contents.

The fact-checking site got in touch with Aniston’s rep, who said that the story is nonsense. Similarly, Perry’s rep described the story as “rubbish.”

While people would love to see Aniston dating once more after her split from Theroux, the fact remains that she’s not dating anyone right now. In fact, she might not be in a hurry to date someone at the moment as she’s enjoying her single life, as well as her work.

And she’s also still a bit cautious regarding the whole dating thing. “She will be cautious [about dating again]. If something comes into her life, that’s fine, but she is not sitting on the edge of her seat,” a source told People.

However, she’s not avoiding relationships entirely either. “When [love] comes knocking it’s going to be welcomed. I’m not like, ‘no, I’m done with that’,” she told Harper’s Bazaar.

Work is also keeping Aniston pretty busy at the moment. She starred in Netflix’s “Murder Mystery,” which the streaming giant released on June 14.

While critics hated the film, giving it only a measly 46 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, it was still a commercial success as far as Netflix is concerned. A total of “30,869,863 accounts watched Murder Mystery in its first 3 days — the biggest opening weekend ever for a Netflix Film,” the streaming company tweeted. Around 73 million households streamed the movie in the first four weeks of its release.
