Julia Roberts And Richard Gere Allegedly Using ‘Pretty Woman’ As An Excuse To Reunite

Julia Roberts and Richard Gere are said to be getting together to embark on a “Pretty Woman” reunion tour. The pair became so famous for their characters as Vivian Ward and Edward Lewis in their 1990 film, and now they allegedly want to reunite and go on tour.

According to OK! magazine, Roberts and Gere are collaborating to promote the 30th anniversary of “Pretty Woman” via world press tour. Sources also suggested that the pair may also have other intentions for wanting to go on the tour together.

“This is a dream scenario for Julia and Richard and they are looking forward to catching up over cozy dinners,” the insider told the magazine via Gossip Cop. “They would never jeopardize their marriages, but they’re thrilled to have the perfect excuse to enjoy some time together.”

But then again, the gossip police site claimed that this news is false because the information came from an unknown tipster. The publication was also able to talk to Gere’s representative, who denied the rumor of the actor’s reunion with Roberts.

The thing is that there’s no reunion tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the former co-stars’ iconic “Pretty Woman” film. Moreover, the report is already suspicious from the start because it didn’t even provide details about the alleged press tour, like stating what exactly this event is going to be. Will it be a world screening of the movie? Or will they simply go around cities and hold shows?

This is not the first time that OK! magazine published an erroneous story about Roberts and Gere. Just two months ago, it reported that the actress is secretly in love with her former co-star. The paper suggested that since Roberts had intense chemistry and close bond with Gere ever since they starred together in “Pretty Woman,” it was easy for her to fall in love with him.

“Richard’s always been the one that Julia’s turned to in tough times and she feels like no one knows her like he does,” the source supposedly said. “Julia can’t help but wonder if she should’ve been with Richard all along.”

This story was also debunked by Gossip Cop, and it pointed out that Gere is happily married to his wife. And it is the same with Roberts, who is still very much married to Danny Moder. In fact, the actress and her husband celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary last month.
