The saga between Julián Gil and Marjorie De Sousa continues and there's a new twist: an audio leak. This week a Mexican tabloid magazine released a clip where you can hear Rodrigo Carmona (Gil's lawyer) trashing the Venezuelan actress after news broke that she had asked the judge to grant a paternity test to establish that Matías is Julián's biological son. "[The media] is going to destroy her with this", you can hear Carmona say. "With the media hating her, you think they'll say, 'Marjorie wanted this test to clear her name.' You know what's going to be the headline? 'Marjorie has doubts on the father of her baby and asks for a DNA test.' (laughs). Check out the complete audio at the end of this piece and tell us what you think!

Shortly after the leak Marjorie's publicist released the following statement: "Said test was solicited due to Julián Gil, through comments and leaks, have generated an environment that has put into question the honorability, good name and prestige of my client and even worse, has exposed his son Matías Gregorio to the public scrutiny."

Julián Gil also reacted on social media writing: "Where is this headed to? Breaking my privacy, personal telephone conversations and edited from I don't know since, unfounded claims, bugged phone... there are no limits when they want to harm. Unscrupulous people. What a nerve to have someone hack my communications."

Marjorie De Sousa asked for a paternity test, not to prove that Gil is the father because she has no doubt of that, but to make it clear that Julián is the father of Matías. Gil was quick to react to the news on social media writing: "I am surprised by this decision. There will be a time where I'll be able to talk about this with all of you, for now I can assure you that in my hear there's no doubt that Matías is my son and I am willing to do the test when they ask me to."

Gil and De Sousa have been involved in an ugly legal battle over child support. The DNA test comes on the heels of the former's lawyers asking the judge to lower the percentage Gil has to pay out from 20% to 4%. Recently, Marjorie's team slammed Julián for not paying his part. "Since March he has not given absolutely anything," she said in an "Hoy" interview. Since [the baby] was born he has only given 16,000 Mexican pesos [$900 dollars], six diaper packages, two cans of milk, two bottles of water, that's all he's given the baby. Starting in April he has not given anything."

Marjorie's team also added: "He has also not wanted to see the baby, he asked the visits to be canceled until the 14th, I think he's at the beach, he's on vacation and he hasn't seen his son either." The latter seemed like an attempt to tarnish Julián Gil's image in the public eye as he had previously stated he had talked to the judge and excused himself from the visitations due to work in the U.S.
