Julián Gil has weighed in on the magazine cover that Marjorie de Sousa and their son Matías is on after a series of scandals around the photo session. "Is there any way that they can appear uglier?" he asked the "El Gordo y La Flaca" reporter. "Both of them are beautiful, arent't they? Very beautiful."

Gil also reacted to comments made by Niurka Marcos that said men shouldn't cry on camera. "Men have the right to cry," he said. "Men also cry, we are not made of stone. Men also feel and the times that I have cried it's because I've felt it and sometimes I've cried on camera because I wasn't able to contain myself. I think it's a natural feeling."

Weeks ago, Julián Gil broke a promise to the People En Español editor Armando Correa after the former found out the photo session with De Sousa and their baby was going forward without him. Gil was not made away of the change and posted a picture of his son on Instagram to tarnish the exclusivity of the big reaveal of Matías.

"My son is not negotiable," Gil wrote. "Mr. Armando Correa, you say that in 20 years it's the first time that a celebrity breaks an agreement, well I want you to know that in 30 years of my professional careerm it is the first time that a journalist disrespects me and takes advantage of a delicate situation that I am facing for their magazine. Are you sure that I broke an agreement? Do you remember what the agreement was? Did you forget that I found out through people that they would do the pictures without me knowing? Why didn't you say that in your article, that I wrote you for 4 days in a row and you never replied? Who broke the agreement? You or me?"
