Since the documentary Meghan and Harry: An African Journey has been released, the British Royal family has gotten a deluge of new rumors - from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry leaving the royal family for good to the royal family being shocked and furious for the couple airing out their dirty laundry in public.
In the documentary, an emotional Meghan Markle talks about the struggles of being a new mom and having to deal with one blow after another from the British press. While some took to Twitter to show their sympathy for the American actor turned royal, many others have remained nonchalant or have maintained their negative perception of her.
There have been reports as to the Queen and Prince Charles being dismayed with the interview, but the latest is about Kate Middleton reaching out to the couple in an attempt to reconcile. Whether or not she has is still unclear as even royal insiders seem to be divided on the matter. As per Phil Daunier, a royal reporter, Kate is striving to help Meghan and to guide her through her situation with the negative press - as she's had to similarly deal with them before.

“Behind the scenes I’m told Kate is doing her best to bring everyone together and help Meghan,” he said. “None of them want to let the Queen down so Kate is trying to patch things up in private.”
“I’m told she has reached out to Meghan and spoken to her on the phone. Kate feels sorry for her and knows that Meghan is struggling,” he added.
On the other hand though, it's also been reported that while Kate sympathizes with Meghan, she is "herself out of the situation" as she "has enough on her plate looking after three kids and fulfilling royal duties. She barely has a moment to herself and tries to avoid drama and conflict at all costs".
Regardless of how Kate feels about the ongoing drama, the four royals are set to attend cathedral ceremony for Remembrance Sunday this weekend. Last year's ceremony showed the royals all smiling despite the separation of their houses and charities - hopefully it'll be a repeat this year.
