Prince William and Kate Middleton are hands-on parents to their three children -- Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louise, 1. If the popular buzz is anything to go by, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are certainly open to the idea of baby no. 4.
“They love playing together and being creative,” a royal insider said. “Painting, baking and building things are all activities they enjoy, and now that Louis’ a bit older, he gets involved too,” the insider added.
For those wondering if the royal babies were different from other siblings of their age, the answer is a resounding no from the royal insider. “[It’s] usually over silly things like toys or what TV shows they want to watch,” said the source. “But most of the time they get on," it added.
Prince William and Kate Middleton are, truly, loving this phase of their kids and cherish the fact that the three children are very different from each other. “Charlotte’s extremely confident and loves the attention whereas George is more reserved, although he is starting to come out of his shell. George is always looking out for his younger brother and sister and is already showing traits of making an excellent leader. As for little Louis? He’s a real mommy’s boy,” the source said.
Amid royal engagements and a hectic schedule, if there’s something else that ranks as the first priority, it has got to be their kids. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, reportedly, hate leaving the kids behind and are always concerned while they’re out on royal work tours.
“[Prince] William and Kate [Middleton] had a blast on the royal tour,” another source told the popular daily. “The only downfall was that they missed the kids. But on a positive note, they’ve returned to London just in time for half term and are planning to spend quality time with all three kids!” it added.
It has been learned that the Duke and Duchess made a call to their kids and spoke to them before bedtime, every night, during their couple’s five-day tour of Pakistan. At present, Prince William and Kate Middleton have entrusted parenting duties to Kate’s mom, Carole, and their nanny. Carole dotes the kids and is said to treat all the kids equally, including Pippa Middleton’s son, Arthur.
