News of Kim Kardashian’s robbery has spread like wildfire. While many people are still trying to wrap their heads around what actually occurred, Kardashian and Paris police officials believe that the robbery was planned.
According to TMZ, sources have said that Paris cops believe that the robbery was an inside job. The Kardashian family and Parisian police don’t think that it was a coincidence that Kim was without protection at the time the robbers showed up and made their way into the apartment. It is looking like the robbers were coached for the right time to make their move.
Looking at the timeline, the robbers had a very small window to get in and get out. Kim reportedly had friends over before the incident occurred.
Kim’s bodyguard Pascal Duvier is always by her side to the point that the reality star joked about how annoying it got. That night, he left for a few hours to protect her sisters Kendall and Kourtney at a nearby nightclub.
Robbers allegedly confronted the concierge at gunpoint in the lobby and he let them up into Kim’s hotel room. Once the robbers’ left with almost $10million in jewelry, they took the concierge back downstairs.
The site reports that Parisian cops are in the process of checking phone records of various people in and around the building to track suspicious activity.
Sources close to the case claim that there was no surveillance video inside or outside of the hotel. The only video available is police surveillance footage, however, the problem is that the camera doesn’t face the front of the building and the robbers evaded the lens.
The Kardashian family is now currently under strict security detail.
