‘KUWTK’ Season 17: Why Scott Disick Struggles To Co-Parent With Kourtney Kardashian

Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian are in a much better place now compared to how they were shortly after their split. But even though their bond has improved, Scott still thinks that co-parenting with his ex-girlfriend is quite challenging.

In a new teaser for “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” the dad of three admitted that co-parenting with Kourtney is taking a toll on him. This is because Scott is also in a relationship with Sofia Richie.

The “Flip It Like Disick” star is worried that Sofia might have a hard time adjusting to his setup with Kourtney. After all, since he and Kourtney share three children together, they have no choice but to be in each other’s lives.

But by the looks of it, Sofia has adjusted well with the situation. In fact, she and Kourtney have also spent time with each other. Sofia has also forged a close relationship with Kourtney’s sister, Kylie Jenner.

During Scott and Kourtney’s conversation, the latter also made it clear that she has no problem with Scott and Sofia’s relationship. In fact, Kourtney told Scott that she wants him and Sofia to be comfortable around her.

Scott and Kourtney called it quits in 2015 after dating for almost a decade. The couple decided to go their separate ways due to Scott’s drinking problem. In the previous episodes of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” Kourtney expressed her concern over Scott’s alcoholism.

She said that she doesn’t want her three kids to grow up seeing their dad always intoxicated. As early as 2010, Kourtney already encouraged Scott to change his ways. In fact, she also threatened to keep Mason away from him if he didn’t stop drinking.

“You’re not going to be around Mason while you’re working on yourself,” Kourtney said. “There’s not even a 1 percent chance ... I can’t do this anymore. I love Mason more than I love you. And that's what it is,” she added.

But shortly after their heated exchange, Kourtney and Scott still decided to make their relationship work. But their attempts didn’t last very long.
