With big wins, memorable duet performances, and a star-studded audience, the 2016 Billboard Latin Music Awards was a complete success. Of course, one of the highlights of the night was the red carpet mayhem prior to the award ceremony.

"El Señor De Los Cielos" stars like Rafael Amaya, Fernanda Castillo, Carmen Aub, and other Telemundo talent attended the show and posed for photographers. Other celebrities at the event included Gaby Espino, Giselle Blondet, Ha*Ash, J Balvin, Zion & Lennox, Luis Coronel, Sonya Smith and many more.

Although most celebrities looked glamorous at the red carpet, we couldn't help but notice how impeccable and flawless Ximena Duque looked. The Colombian actress dazzled in an elegant gown that will leave everyone talking for days. We chatted with the "Dueños del Paraiso" actress about the ravishing dress she flaunted at the Latin Billboards, and this is everything she told us.

Latin Times: You look gorgeous tonight, as always! Who dressed you?

Ximena Duque: It's a dress by designer René Ruíz. I wanted something appropriate for the weather in Miami and a color that I've never worn on the red carpet.

LT: How is the process of choosing a gown for an important gala such as the Latin Billboards?

XD: First, I search for the latest trends in fashion. Then, I pick the color of the dress. Finally, have a great designer at hand, like in this case with Rene Ruiz.

LT: Is this the first time you work with Rene?

XD: Yes, it's the first time. He's a great person and an excellent designer.

LT: What's the best thing about being part of these star-studded award ceremonies, such as the Latin Billboards?

XD: Enjoy the beautiful audience who is always waiting for their favorite celebrity with so much enthusiasm. And of course, enjoy this big event and the performances.
