Man Posing As Woman Caught After Sneaking Into Female Hostel, Paraded In Public In Underwear

Mystery shrouds the reason behind a man who posed as a woman and sneaked into an all-girl hostel in Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Conflicting reports cropped up on why the man snuck in but the aftermath has drawn the ire of Student Union executives on the handling of the matter.

The identity of the man has yet to be known and there were no claims to the incident. One alleged that the man disguised himself to see a female friend who had been avoiding him. The reason behind that is because the man allegedly failed to live up to the promises he made to the woman.

On the other hand, another report alleged that the man purposely snuck in and tried to pass himself off as a girl with the intent to steal. The true story behind it all remains unknown.

Regardless, the intrusion of the man raised the alarm of the girls present at the hostel on the evening of May 24. They accosted him and the ruckus drew the attention of male students. The man got a beating as a result of the incident and went as far as to strip him naked. Footages cropped up showing the man wearing only a red bra and boxers when security personnel intervened and taken away.

Despite the incident, the Student Union bemoaned how the matter was handled. They called the attention of management to look into the matter and the dismissal of the CSO IAUE. The call was made by Comr. Agi Lucky Agi (Nye we Eli/ Ali 2017).
