Reports indicated that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were going through a pretty rough divorce after Cannon asked for $30MM in a settlement, Carey refused so he signed a tell-all book deal which made her furious. But rumors aside, the former couple seems to be putting up a united front for their twins Monroe and Moroccan, by spending Easter Sunday together. This is the first time they have been spotted together after Cannon filed for divorce last December, following months of separation. Despite their differences Nick was quick to make a statement about the mother of her children on Twitter: “I will never say anything negative about @MariahCarey We are forever a family rooted in love.”

The family got together in New York's Bronx Zoo on Sunday, and Mariah posted a photo on her Instagram of the foursome looking adorable and having fun hunting for Easter eggs, which she captioned “Happy Easter!!! #ontheegghunt #NYiswild.” The “America’s Got Talent” host later regrammed the post with the caption, “Best Easter Sunday @BronxZoo Roc & Roe had a blast finding eggs all over the Zoo! #FestiveFamily #HappyEaster.”

Despite living apart, the couple is convinced their kids will continue to have a great childhood. Cannon recently told US Weekly that his kids will get to experience both worlds, “They get Manhattan and a little bit of Jersey.”
