Mickey Rooney, iconic actor loved by many has died at the age of 93. The cause of his death is not known. He was one of the biggest stars during the 1930s and 1940s. He had a long career that lasted over 90 years being one of the longest in Hollywood history. He began when he was an infant and appeared in over 200 films.

He was nominated for four Academy Awards. He won a Juvenile Oscar Award in 1939 when he was 18 and an honorary Oscar recognizing his decades-long career in 1983. Recently, he appeared in “The Muppets” and also in “Night at the Museum.”

Mickey Rooney was also a child star so in remembrance of him, we remember the best Latino child stars. Shakira, who we all know for her hips that don’t lie, began her career as a kid singing in competitions. She had successful albums before America even knew who she was. Now she is a coach on “The Voice” and successful singer who made a crossover.

He has been a very successful artist and very famous around the world. Daniela Luján was “Luz Clarita” but has struggled as an adult to land another lead role.
