The Milwaukee Bucks host the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at the Fiserv Forum, the first regular season meeting between the two teams.

The Bucks are coming off a huge 150-130 win over the Detroit Pistons while the Nuggets also pulled off a close win against the New Orleans Pelicans, 99-98.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way for Milwaukee with a game-high 29 points along with 12 rebounds and four assists. Brook Lopez added 21 markers and four rebounds.

The Bucks are scoring 113.2 points per game, the 18th most points scored per game in the NBA. They also have an adjusted offensive rating of 112.4, 23rd in the league.

Milwaukee is surrendering 111.8 points per contest, the sixth least amount of points in the NBA. They also have a defensive rating of 111.2, the third lowest in the league.

For the Nuggets, pulling off a win against the Bucks is possible if Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray come out with big games.

In that win over the New Orleans Pelicans, 99-98, Jokic returned and dropped 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Murray coincidentally ended with 25 points as well and dished off seven assists.

“I’m just playing the game," Jokic said. "I’m glad I found open teammates. I actually made the last basket. I’m just glad that we won the game. Individual awards don’t really matter.”

The Nuggets are scoring 117.2 points per game, the fifth-most points in the league. They also have an adjusted offensive rating of 117.8, the second-highest in the NBA right now.

The defense may need work with Denver allowing 112.9 points per contest, 13th in the league. They also own the 16th-lowest defensive rating in the NBA at 114.2.

The Bucks are -7 favorites to prevail over the Nuggets who are at +7. The Moneyline for this game is -277 for Milwaukee and +224 for Denver.
