The most beautiful women in the country have gathered in Las Vegas for the Miss USA 2016 pageant. There are 52 contestants representing a state, a candidate from the District of Columbia and an additional participant voted by fans. Two Latinas are vying for the crown: Niadia Mejia from California and Daniella Rodriguez from Texas. When will the winner be announced?

A preliminary competition will take place on Wednesday, June 1. Participants will be modeling swimwear and evening gowns at the T-Mobile Arena in Sin City. The competition will be open to audiences that buy a ticket to go inside a venue. Organizers will also make available a live stream of the show that will be available at the Miss Universe Organization official website. The judges for this first viewing are Fred Nelson, Joey Boukadakis, Keltie Knight, Kristin Conte, Nick Phelps and Rebecca Bienstock. They will determine the Top 15 that will be revealed during the live telecast.

The live telecast of Miss USA 2016 will air on Sunday, June 5 on the FOX network. The T-Mobile Arena in Vegas will also hold the stage for the pageant that will see a new beauty queen crowned. The Miss USA 2016 main show will be hosted by Julianne Hough and Terrence Jenkins. Both will be joined by Ashley Graham from backstage that will have the inside scoop and all the drama from behind the scenes. Musical performers include Chris Young and Backstreet Boys. Judges for the telecast are Ali Landry, Crystle Stewart, Joe Zee and Laura Brown.

The girls have been in Las Vegas all week rehearsing for the show and prepping to make things go smoothly in hopes of winning. Olivia Jordan, who represented Oklahoma, is the current titleholder. She went on to represent USA in the Miss Universe 2015 pageant where she placed as second-runner up behind winner Pia Wurtzback and first runner-up Ariadna Gutiérrez.
