Over the weekend, authorities arrested a mother after her three children were discovered dead in her California home.

Law and Crime said officials detained Angela Flores late Sunday night after being questioned by police earlier that day.

The incident happened on the 22500 block of Victory Boulevard in the West Hills district of Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).

Canales observed the California mother enter the yard of her next-door neighbor, open a Bible, and light candles.

Blanca Hernandez, Flores' next-door neighbor, told CBS News that she was home when Flores began acting "erratically on her front lawn," causing her to dial 911.

If she resided in the region, she said she never saw Flores. Flores, according to Canales, kept getting up and asking where is her bible.

According to neighbor Stephen Hayes, the family appeared to be "lovely, normal people," according to neighbor Stephen Hayes, who also noted that the California mom's house "is one of the nicest-looking residences on the block."

Flores' teenage son, who is suspected of being implicated in the murders of his siblings, was reportedly apprehended after running towards a neighbor's house. He was reportedly taken to a juvenile detention center.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the California mother acknowledged to killing her children with the help of his 16-year-old son. Flores is being jailed on $6 million bond after being charged with three charges of murder.
