Singer, performer, and advocate for Afro-Latinas and diversity, Amara La Negra, released her latest single "Andale."

After breaking out on VH-1’s primetime hit show “Love & Hip Hop: Miami,” the Latin pop singer is ready to free your mind and is redefining what it means to be Latinx. The Dominican-American 29-year-old artists also partnered with Triller, a groundbreaking fun and unique social platform where users can create and share their own music video creations.

Produced by Grammy-nominated producer Kevin Khao Cates, the song is a mix of Hip-Hop and Spanish. "It's a rap and hip-hop song because I’ve been inspired by Hip-Hop culture and their music," said the artist. "I got out of my comfort zone. It’s my alter ego, it’s completely different from anything anyone has heard from me before - I’m rapping.”

Amara La Negra, alongside Legendary artist Pitbull and DJ City will also be launching Boost Mobile’s “Step Up To The Mic,” which will give aspiring musicians, singers, songwriters, and performers a chance to step up and achieve their dreams by giving them an opportunity to showcase their talent, be it slam poetry, rap, song, instrumental, etc. through a digital-first, elimination-style contest. Set to launch on Wednesday, April 15th, Amara will be promoting the contest and calls for auditions weekly via her social media platforms and encourages her fans to participate.

Also, the performer is launching an “Andale Dance Challenge” to dovetail the launch of her single with her participation in the “Step Up To The Mic Campaign.” Plus will be participating in Triller’s “Co-Trilla sessions, an epic 3-day festival from April 10-12th.

]To Spanish-language TV viewers, Amara has been a star for years: as a child, she made regular appearances on Univision’s Sábado Gigante. The reggae-tinged "What A Bam Bam" which came out in 2018, soared into the millions of views on YouTube and crossed her over. Now, this triple-threat celebrity/social media star is relishing her biggest spotlight yet. Amara La Negra is also a philanthropist and is a spokesperson for Celebrate Life Campaign and supports their efforts in their Fight Against HIV/AIDS.

The international entertainer co-hosted the Emmy Award-winning daytime talk show, The Real, for several months, hosted the 2018 BET Awards LIVE Experience stage alongside fellow Love & Hip Hop personality, Safaree, as well as presented a stellar performance that captured the audience at the 2018 ALMA Awards for Fuse TV.

Captivating a well-versed transition into the American entertainment arena while celebrating her Latin heritage and roots, Amara La Negra stole the love of fans as she competed in the "Mira Quien Baila AllStars Dance" show presented by Univision.
