In the opinion of former United States President Barack Obama, there will be significant changes if it can be proven that alien life exists. However, the 59-year-old added that their existence would not change his perspective on life.

Obama feels that sweeping changes are forthcoming once proof that aliens exist is proven. That includes the emergence of new religions and huge spending on weapons systems for humans to protect themselves against the unknown.

"It wouldn’t change my politics at all. Because my entire politics is premised on the fact that we are these tiny organisms on this little speck floating in the middle of space,” Obama stated on a New York Times podcast. “But no doubt there would be immediate arguments about like, well, we need to spend a lot more money on weapons systems to defend ourselves. New religions would pop up.”

Obama’s take comes not long after detailed cases of UFOs were reportedly spotted by military personnel. In a CBS news broadcast, interviews with US Navy pilots confirmed that some of them have witnessed seeing these unidentified flying objects.

One of those who spoke was Former Navy pilot Lieutenant Ryan Graves. He considers whatever is out there is a security risk when he spoke with reporter Bill Whitaker.

“I am worried, frankly. You know, if these were tactical jets from another country that were hangin' out up there, it would be a massive issue. But because it looks slightly different, we're not willing to actually look at the problem in the face. We're happy to just ignore the fact that these are out there, watching us every day,” Graves stated.

The topic, crazy as it may be for some, was raised during a format White House briefing session. US spokeswoman Jen Psaki revealed to reporters that the country’s top spooks are now actively working on the report.

“Our team at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence is, of course, actively working on that report,” Psaki said. “And we take reports of incursions into our airspace by any aircraft identified or unidentified very seriously and investigate each one.”
