KANSAS CITY - The Chiefs started the game with their offense running on all cylinders. The Chiefs executed a picture perfect first drive between rushes to Jamal Charles and passes to tight end Travis Kelce and receiver, Dwayne Bowe. Both scoring drives in the first half were ">capped off by Charles, one on the ground and one through the air as the Chiefs jumped out to an early 14-0 lead on the Pats.

The Kansas City Chiefs fans set the Guinness Book of World Records at Arrowhead stadium for the loudest outdoor stadium in the world. At one point in the first half, the roar of the crowd reached 142.2 decibels shattering the previous record of 137.6 set by the Seattle Seahawks last year. The Arrowhead crowd cheered loudly as the record was announced just before halftime.

Tom Brady was frustrated all night as he repeatedly could not convert on third down. Brady was seen on television cursing, and voicing his frustrations to his linemen and receivers on the sidelines. Brady threw two interceptions, one which was returned for a touchdown before being benched in the 4th quarter of the blow out for Italian-American, Jimmy Garappolo.

Garoppolo sasw his first on the field action for the Patriots and threw a touchdown pass to tight end Rob Gronkowski in the waning minutes of the game.

The Chiefs ended a four-game home losing streak at Arrowhead stadium with the victory and handed the Patriots there worst lossing since 2005. The NFL's first ever Brazilian born kicker, Cairo Santos, was excellent in the game as well as the Latino star went 2-2 on fieldgoals and pounded the ball into the endzone on kick-offs.

The Patriots came into the game with the number one overall defense in the NFL, but were exploited by the Chiefs defense throughout the game. Alex Smith threw for 248 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in front of the home town crowd.

Kansas City's defense was superb again as they were led by Hispanic cornerback Sean Smith, Smith intercepted Brady and returned it 34 yards. He also had three tackles and helped force the Patriots into three turnovers. Tamba Hall was aso big for the Chiefs in the game, getting a strip sack funble on Brady in the second quarter.
