The Pokémon Company has announced that the three legendary bird Pokémon will become available in the U.S. on the 3DS titles.

The Pokémon in question are Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres all with their hidden abilities. Articuno's ability is Snow Cloak, Zapdos has Static and Moltres has Flame Body.

To get these Pokémon you'll have to enter a special code recieved by the Pokémon Trainers Club. If you're already a member you will receive the codes in May. If you are not a member you'll need to sign up for the Pokémon Trainers Club April 22, 2016 to be eligible to receive codes to get Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres. As Nintendo Life points out, users will only be given one code so they'll need to set up trades online or with friends to have all three Pokémon.

The legendary bird Pokémon will be available for "Pokémon Omega Ruby," "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire," "Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y" games.

Meanwhile, Nintendo's latest Pokémon giveaway has offically gone live. As part of its 20th anniversary, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have decided to launch a year long giveaway for some of the rarest Pokémon out there.

Jirachi is one of the eleven mythical Pokémon that will be distrubed. The first Pokémon to kick off the even was the rarest of all, Mew. Followed by the Psychic and Grass type Pokémon Celebi in March. Getting your hands on this Jirachi is quite easy. Trainers can get the mythical Pokémon by connecting to the Internet and using the "Mystery Gift" option on their Pokémon game. Be aware that you can only download one Jirachi per Pokémon game. And make sure you act fast as this is the first time Jirachi has been available in the US since 2010, reports Comicbook.com.

This Psychic and Steel type Pokémon has its own signature move, Doom Desire, which does an extraordinary amount of damage two turns after the move is used. Jirachi will come at level 100 with the three moves: Wish, Confusion and Rest.
