“Power” Season 6 premiere event in New York City turned into a massive celebration with 50 Cent and his friends joining the party. The popular show will come to an end with this last story, and Starz gave a lavish farewell to the team.

The premiere night was at the Madison Square Garden in Manhattan. 50 Cent, who played the role of Kanan on the show and is also a producer, performed at the event with some of his friends.

The other stars who were there at the premiere night that felt more like a music concert were Snoop Dogg, Lil Mo, G4 Boyz, Trey Songz, ASAP Ferg, Fetty Wap, A Boogie Jeremih, and YFN Lucci, Variety reported. The songs that were played included “P.I.M.P.,” “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” “What Up Gangsta,” “Birthday Sex,” and “Magic Stick.”

Among the audience were show creator Courtney A. Kemp, who was dancing next to director Anthony Hemingway. Joseph Sikora, who reprised his role as Tommy Egan in “Power” Season 6, was seen taking selfies with the fans.

It was just before 10 p.m. that 50 Cent stopped the music and asked for the airing of the first episode. “Alright, enough of this s—t. Let’s watch the show,” he said.

There was an after party at the premiere too, but before that the stars of the show came on stage to perform the intro of the TV series “Big Rich Town.” Cast members Omari Hardwick, Naturi Naughton, Lela Loren, and LaLa Anthony were there on stage for the final performance.

The other big cast member from the show who was also there at the premiere was Jerry Ferrara, who reprised his role as Joe Proctor. His wife gave birth to a son four months back, and this was his first night out with his wife after welcoming his son into the world, People reported.
