Juan Gabriel and Alejandro Fernández will be taking the Premios Billboard 2016 stage for one of the duets of the night. The Telemundo Latin Music Award Show will also honor the "Divo De Juarez" with the special Star Award. Juan Gabriel is recognized worldwide as a singer, composer, producer, actor and philanthropist. His contribution to Latin music throughout the past 45 years is unparalleled. He has sold over 100 million copies of his albums and has performed sold-out concerts throughout the world. His songs have been interpreted by over 1500 artists and groups, and have been translated to many languages, including Turkish, Tagalog, Greek and Japanese. His music has crossed through a variety of genres including pop, ballads, rancheras, flamenco and new age.

Premios Billboard 2016 will be hosted at the BankUnited Center at the University of Miami and the official presenters will be Gaby Espino and Pedro Fernández. Both will be joined by huge stars that will walk the red carpet, present awards, receive trophies and best of all perform on stage. This year organizers of the event have dubbed it "Billboard Duets." What does that mean? That all performers will be collaborating with another artist. Aside from Juan Gabriel and Fernández performing together the following artists have been confirmed for special collaborations throughout the gala: Juanes will join Juan Gabriel, Marco Antonio Solís with Marc Anthony, Lucero with Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizarraga, Yandel with Victor Manuelle, Alejandro Fernández with his daughter Camila and Daddy Yankee with Don Omar.

Paulina Rubio will also grace the award show stage and mark her first appeareance since giving birth to her baby boy. Other confirmed performers include Alejandra Guzmán, Fanny Lu, Ha*Ash, Jencarlos Canela, Jesse & Joy, Kany Garcia, Paty Cantú, Natalia Jimenez, Alexis y Fido, Farruko, Gente De Zona, J Balvin, Zion & Lennox, Nicky Jam, El Dasa, Gerardo Ortiz, Luis Coronel, Roberto Tapia and many more. Presenters for the show include Andy Samberg, Natalie Morales, Adriana Lima, Andres Cantor, Angélica Vale, Blanca Soto, Carmen Aub, Don Francisco, Dra. Ana María Polo, Edith Gonzalez, El Dasa, Fernanda Castillo, Giselle Blondet, Maria Celeste Arraras, Michael Buffer, Patricia Manterola, Rafael Amaya, Raúl Gonzalez. Premios Billboard 2016 will air Thursday, April 28 at 8pm ET/PT on the Telemundo network.
