More than just cars that go fast, racing fans experience the ferocity of competition as their heroes enter battle against one another over every inch of road. Racing also teaches us to appreciate the human endeavor when the teams and drivers work together tirelessly to accomplish the common goal for the top step of the podium.

To capture the essence of racing at its finest, YouTube user Matzell 89 shares the latest iteration of his popular videos, Racing in Slow Motion IV. Setting the tone with the most famous line in Steve McQueen's "Le Mans," the 15-minute video takes us across racing in different disciplines, countries, and eras in gratuitous slow motion. Then, just before the ride is over, we catch a glimpse of the greats that have left us, Dan Wheldon and Marco Simoncelli.
