Pasta With Sage And Butter Sauce

Ingredients

1 pound penne pasta
5 tablespoons sage butter
1/2 cup of parmesan
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/4 cup pine nuts

Directions

In a saucepan place the butter and begin to cook until the milk solids begin to turn golden or amber. Then add the pine nuts to go cook and help us develop even more toasted flavor we want. At this point add the sage leaves and let cook over low heat slightly to loosen a little taste about a minute. Remove from heat and add lemon juice. In the sauce and add cooked pasta without removing excess water and mix with the butter sauce at this point grate the Parmesan and let melt.
