Revenge-Season-4-Spoilers
Will Daniel die in season 4? ABC

“Revenge” returns to ABC on January 5, and despite the mid-season finale answering multiple burning questions, there are new mysteries once again. A new sneak peek video reveals that after being shot at her wedding by her groom, Emily Thorne is slowly but surely recovering in the hospital. While Emily may be regaining her physical strength, her mental ability could be compromised. The new clip shows the newly married couple, although while most newlyweds are honeymooning, the pair are meeting each other again for the first time.

Daniel Grayson tentatively enters his wife hospital room, Emily wakes up and grasps Daniel’s hand, but instead of remembering that he was the one who in fact shot her, Emily asks for his help. Emily is seemingly suffering from amnesia and has no memory of Daniel, the wedding or even who she is! When Season 3 of “Revenge” returns fans will be in for a treat with “Homecoming,” according to the episode synopsis “allies and enemies scramble to learn what happened the night of Emily’s wedding.” And while we cannot wait to see what will unfold when the pair is reunited, we again have so many questions. Mainly is Emily faking her amnesia? Daniel shot his blushing bride after learning that she had been faking her pregnancy, while he admittedly was drunk; he attempted to kill her for her continued manipulation. Playing the damsel in distress may be Emily’s only shot at staying entangled within the Grayson web. Emily Thorne may be a bombshell, but as we have learned she is certainly no ditz. Could her amnesia be a ploy to get Daniel right where she wants him, as you know already Emily has a knack for turning the tables on her enemies? And while we aren’t convinced that Emily is without her most vicious weapon just yet, she may not have to worry about Daniel and his newly discovered knowledge too much longer.

While Season 3 of “Revenge” is certainly returning, Daniel may not be! Show runner, Sunil Nayyar revealed that Emily Van Camp’s on and off screen love may not be returning to the series. "Josh had gotten himself into a space because he knew he was doing this storyline that I think that some of the darkness was in there in a way, so that when he was speaking to people, he had just such a commitment to where his character was going that I think he, in his mind, just let it go to the nth degree...Coming out of it, anybody could die on "Revenge" at any time, so it wasn't an insane thing to say, but we love Josh and obviously we have plans for his character," Nayar told E! Online.

The comments on which the show runner are responding to shocked “Revenge” fans, Josh Bowman who portrays the cunning Daniel Grayson on the hit ABC soap opera recently called for his iconic and rather central character to be killed off. "I'm trying to pitch a Daniel death by the end of the season," Bowman told TV Guide. "I love working on the show, but I'm just being honest. My character has flip-flopped the most, and it's been so hard for me to play." With the new plot twist as Daniel being the Season 3 shooter, and Emily’s amnesia, we are wondering if the slip flopping is only continuing for Bowman. Or perhaps he is happy with his new villainous role on the series. Either way, with a show like “Revenge” we are assuming that anyone could be taking out, as long as Emily Thorne says so first!
