Leonardo DiCaprio
Leonardo Dicaprio stars in Alejandro González Iñárritu's upcoming epic adventure "The Revenant." 20th Century Fox

Anna Faris, Anthony Mackie and SAG-AFTRA Executive Vice President Gabrielle Carteris announced the nominations for the 22nd annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. Most consider this award one of the highest honors an actor can receive, since it's awarded by their peers. The "SAGs" are also considered to be pretty accurate Oscar indicators. That said, with "Trumbo," "The Big Short" and "House of Cards" leading the pack, it is exciting to see Leonardo DiCaprio nominated for González Iñárritu’s “The Revenant,” as well as the cast of “Modern Family” (go Sofía!) and Jon Hamm for his final season of “Mad Men.”

The awards will be held at the Shrine Auditorium on January 30 following voting by the 165,000 members of SAG-AFTRA. The event will air live on TBS and TNT and entertainment icon Carol Burnett will be presented with the much deserved SAG Life Achievement Award. Here's the full list:
