Like Jennifer Lopez once said: "Love don't cost a thing", but when you're dating the guy who owns Gucci, Balenciaga, Yves Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney, just to name a few, it's quite nice to have little gifts with those names on it.

But that wasn't important to Salma Hayek, who dated, had a baby with, and married the guy behind all those famous names that all girls want to have in their closets. As a matter of fact, she almost didn't date him at all (crazy, right?), because she thought she was being set up with his then 70 year old father of the same name.

We're talking about François-Henri Pinault, not to be confused with François Pinault (the "Henri" plays an important part here), who took his dad's empire, turned it around, made it even more fabulous and charmed little Salma with his French flare even though he was the one surprised that he was actually falling in love with a Latina.

After a civil ceremony in Paris on Valentine's Day 2009, the couple now spends their weekends in the majestic Château de la Mormaire, 45 minutes away from Paris. François-Henri jokes that his dad, François Pinault teaches curse words to Valentina, his daughter with Salma, François and Mathilde, his kids with his first wife Dorothée Lepère, and Augustin, whom he had with Linda Evangelista.

The Pinault Hayek family lead a very comfortable life, well balanced and respectful. François- Henri confesses to be "crazy" for his wife, as she has a strong temper that goes well with his calmness. But not everything was perfect at the beginning, their differences led them to split up their engagement in 2008, but a few months later, everything was back on track.

Salma says that she fought a lot with him because she didn't really understand fashion as she was more of an activist, but now she just walks away when she doesn't like something, that, she claims, she learned from her husband.

This is one of the best examples of "When fashion met Hollywood" creating the perfect combination of classy but chic, elegant but wild, European charm with Latino spiciness. That's one of the main reasons we just can't get enough of this couple.
