If you did not get enough of the J.Lo crime drama "Shades of Blue" on NBC then you are in luck as the network has revealed the series will return for a second season.

We have also learned viewers will see more of Assistant District Attorney James Neva (played by Gino Anthony Pesi) on a more regular basis. Pesi will return in the role of ADA Neva as a series regular for Season 2 of the crime drama, reports Deadline. This means we will see Jennifer Lzopzez's character Harlee Santos getting some romance as Pesi's character is currenty her love interest.

The series starring Lopez and Ray Liotta is gearing up to start production in New York City next week for a 13-episode season, which is set to air midseason during the 2016-2017 TV schedule.

The first season of "Shades of Blue" showed Harlee Santos, an NYPD detective and single mother struggling with financial problems. When she is caught up in an FBI anti-corruption probe, she must choose between the right thing for her daughter or covering up for her corrupt police co-workers and friends. The second season is sure to see the fallout of all her actions as a lot of her dirty deeds were brought to light in the season finale "One Last Lie."

Returning stars include Lopez, Liotta as Lieutenant Matt Wozniak, Drea de Matteo as Detective Tess Nazario, Warren Kole as Special Agent Robert Stahl, Dayo Okeniyi as Detective Michael Loman, Hampton Fluker as Detective Marcus Tufo, Vincent Laresca as Detective Carlos Espada and Sarah Jeffery as Cristina Santos.

Series is executive producers are Jack Orman, Lopez, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, Benny Medina, Ryan Seacrest and Nina Wass. "Shades of Blue" was created by Adi Hasak and is produced through Universal Television, Nuyorican Productions, EGTV, Ryan Seacrest Productions, Adi TV Studios and Jack Orman Productions.
