'Sons of Anarchy' season six episode three will air tonight on FX. So far in season six we have learned that former federal marshal Lee Toric (Donal Logue) is trying to get Clay (Ron Pearlman) to flip on SAMCRO. It seems as though Clay has accepted Toric's deal but before Clay was willing to sign anything he demanded that Toric bring his former wife, Gemma (Katey Sagal) and son Jax (Charlie Hunnam) to see him in jail. When Toric asked why he would want to see the people that helped set him up for murder Clay said it was because he wants to hurt people.
Gemma goes to see Clay and her former husband tells Gemma that he is still in love with her no matter what. This causes Gemma to break down and storm out of the room. It looks as though that is what Clay wanted and Toric meets Gemma in the hallway after she finishes crying in the bathroom. Without saying it in so many words Toric basically tells Gemma, Clay flipped and wants the pleasure of saying that to Jax himself. Jax does not go and see Clay in episode two. He was busy dealing with the old lady of one of Nero's (Jimmy Smits) crew.
SAMCRO was afraid that the old lady would rat about that fact that her son used a gun sold by the MC to shoot up a school. After taking the woman to a cabin in the woods Jax makes a decision that does not sit well with Nero. Jax dispatched Juice (Theo Rossi) to smother the woman while she is tied to a bed in order to keep her quiet. Nero confronts Jax about that decision and Jax lies saying she likely died from all the drugs she was taking. The look Nero gives Jax suggests Nero knows the truth but he does not call Jax out about it.
Viewers will have to keep an eye on these two this season. If there is no trust between Jax and Nero the two crews could end up on opposing sides of a violent battle. Jax's world is slowly starting to unravel. He is trying to keep his club united, his family safe and his wife, Tara (Maggie Siff) out of prison. Tara is changing before our eyes and it looks as though she is not as in love with Jax as she was in the beginning of the series.
On tonight's episode of "Sons of Anarchy" Jax will come face to face with Clay in prison. The spoiler sites are pointing toward something major happening in episode three. Reports are saying that Clay will do something that will shock viewers in order to stay alive in prison. Considering all Clay has done in the past (killing Jax father, taking a hit out on Tara and beating Gemma) whatever he is planning to do must be epic. Cartermatt.com writes "Clay does something to survive behind bars that will shock even the most grizzled fan."
In the promo for tonight's episode "Poenitentia" we see Jax sitting at a table across from Clay. Whatever they have talked about must have something to do with Tara. Jax knows Toric is behind the two-way mirror, so he gets up and confronts the man looking to destroy his club and put his wife in jail. Jax says he understands what Toric is going through. Toric wants revenge on the club because one of its members killed his sister. "I'm sorry about your sister," Jax says to Toric. "I can feel how personal this is or you. But if you try to come after my wife, you going to feel how personal this is for me."
