A lot of men around the world are probably regretting this, but Stacy Keibler is now a married woman. The actress, model and former professional wrestler, who broke up with George Clooney last summer, after two years of dating, said her “I Do” to boyfriend of several months, Jared Pobre. The couple married in a private ceremony in Mexico, surrounded by close friends and family.
Although Keibler and Pobre, a tech entrepreneur, had been planning the wedding for some time, it was a surprise for the guests, who just thought they were vacationing with the couple but were in for a special time. The couple exchanged vows while the sun was setting, creating a very intimate and romantic moment that they’ll cherish for the rest of their lives.
"My happiness is indescribable!" Keibler, 34, told People Magazine. "Marriage is the ultimate bond of love and friendship. It means putting all your faith and trust into a person that you can't help but believe is your soul mate. Someone who has all of your best interests at heart; someone handpicked for you, to help you grow and be the best person that you can be. Jared is all of this for me."
"We both felt strongly that our 'love day' should be intimately special, and that's exactly what it was," the couple told People in a statement. "It was a blend of romance, tranquility, natural beauty, bonding and overwhelming love." This is the first marriage for Stacy and Jared, 39, who had been friends for over five years before officially dating since the fall of last year. Jared is the CEO of Future Ads, a private interactive firm that by 2009 was one of the fastest-growing interactive companies in the country.
